Blue Hippo: Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love

Bullet is a very big pit bull boy, who resembles (in appearance and personality) an alien. He is very sweet, loves to run like a crazy man through your house. He is learning manners but is the kind of dog who, when i first brought him home, would walk on the coffee table and think nothing of it. He needs an experienced home with people who will keep up his training. Bullet is very food motivated and is working on basic obedience. He is good around other dogs, but is under-socialized and will behave inappropriately at times (humping, jumping at dogs' faces to play with them, etc.) He is just way too excited to have dog friends, but sometimes the other dogs don't see it that way. Therefore, he needs to live as an only dog. Bullet is playfull, serious, silly, and wonderfully weird. He likes to sleep on my head (he sneaks up in the middle of the night and lies right on top of me, thinking I wont notice.) He is very puppy-like, even though he is older. Bullet has some health issues, due to irresponsible people breeding blue hippos, or "bully style" pit bulls, and selling them for profit and not being careful of health. Bullet was left in a crate in the street in front of the shelter. He had a limp in his back leg, and it turned out that he needed an ACL surgery. He had his surgery and is fully recovered, but it is a possibility that his other leg will need surgery further on down the road.
